Stress may be viewed as the effect on your body, mind, and spirit caused by the way you handle life's difficulties, other people's behavior or even your own thinking.
When you believe, not just casually, but strongly that things are worse than you can possibly manage; that an event is awful, horrible, terrible, catastrophic rather than really bad, inconvenient or difficult, do you dwell on this event, lose sleep over it, over-react to others, fail to complete important tasks or responsibilities and generally mess up your life?
